Description

In this episode, I circle back before moving forward.

I briefly revisit our previous conversation about the sudden stoppage of my Social Security Disability benefits and the residual effects that followed. I share how and why finding employment after relocating to Arizona has been more complicated than expected, even when the motivation to work is strong.

From there, the conversation shifts inward.

I reflect on how easy it is to revert to old habits, especially when they feel familiar and comfortable. Comfort, however, does not always equate to safety. I learned that lesson firsthand while dealing with the flu, when neglecting my health opened the door to bigger consequences.

I also share a candid update about the future of Scarred, Not Silent. This season may be coming to a close, making room for new topics, new conversations, and a different direction on the horizon.

Sometimes growth starts by noticing when we are drifting backward, and choosing, once again, to move forward.
