Description

This time, Yinka welcomes a friend, mental health practitioner and social entrepreneur, Chukumeka Maxwell, to open that Hurt Locker door on his mental health experiences.

Chuks, at 64 years young, has been reflecting on how he can make peace with himself and let go of the past due to a recent health scare.

Tune in as he unpicks with Yinka wide and wonderful conversations from: being schooled in Nigeria, the trauma of the Biafran War, growing up in London and being privately educated, to looking forward to his work in mental health and suicide prevention.

*TRIGGER WARNING* This open conversation shares references to wartime violence, corporate punishment and suicidal thoughts.

If you are experiencing mental health issues, please do reach out for help - phone 999 for an emergency or if you would like to speak to someone, call The Samaritans on 116 123
