Description

This week Yinka welcomes philosophical writer, therapist, and coach, Alex Holmes to open that Hurt Locker door on his mental health experiences..

Alex is a men’s mental health specialist, and through his practice of hypnotherapy, group work, and coaching, he helps men lead wise and authentic lives that mean something to them. However, in this recording he switches roles to become the guest and it's 'Time To Talk' and reflect upon some impactful moments in his life: from growing-up in a busy household and the responsibilities he held as eldest sibling, to his experience of existential crisis in a toxic working environment as a graduate, to a how he now finds greater peace in his life in the mental health space having had therapy himself.

*TRIGGER WARNING* This open conversation shares experiences of racism, discrimination, emotional stress at work and bereavement.
