Before social justice hashtags, there was Amos — the shepherd-turned-prophet who thundered against corruption and inequality. In The Book of Amos, we hear the voice of moral outrage: "Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream." Amos calls out kings, elites, and anyone who hides behind ritual while ignoring the poor. His message is ancient but sounds like tomorrow's headlines: religion without ethics is empty, and silence in the face of injustice is the loudest sin of all.
