He's an influential mentor in the Detroit metropolitan area, former professional basketball player, successful high school basketball coach, as well as a licensed minister. John is also a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, where he earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in Business Technology. John's upcoming novel The Black Athlete depicts a story of an African-American boy from Detroit, Michigan, with dreams and aspirations of becoming a professional athlete.
