Today we point the mics directly at one very special guest, who also dupes as your friendly vegan host Isabelle! Today we dive into Isabelle's life growing up in Luxembourg, Europe exploring what it was like for her as a young child who would make posters about "saving the animals" amidst a rather traditional culture of meat and dairy lovers, and in a household where she couldn't leave the table until she finished her plate. Being the youngest sibling with two older brothers whom she looked up on the one hand created pressure to compete with them, and on the other hand an opportunity to create her own identity. Isabelle talks about the freedom she felt when she could make her own dietary decisions later in life, and how moving from Europe to the NYC further fostered her exploratory vegan journey. I hope you enjoy my conversation with Isabelle!
