Behind the complexities of our relationships, professions and aspirations, there remains only one consistency - yourself. It is hard to find and be yourself however, if you are not well tuned in with your core. Our conversation with Victoria Moran is so much more than a discussion of why a whole plant based diet is nourishing for the body and souls. It is a conversation about honesty, compassion, forgiveness, and exploration - within yourself and the world around.
Victoria takes us through her multi decade journey toward veganism. In the 1950s, this guaranteed her to be a perpetual outsider. Simultaneously, and determined to follow her gut, from a young age deemed eating animals illogical. Therefore, she sought out to discover her way, well..her way. Always trusting her instincts, Victoria’s courage to home school her daughter is just one of the many outside-the-box paths she’s chosen.
Victoria is, quite simply, a role model. She is wise as she is compassionate as she is an articulate and captivating speaker. Not to mention she is a well-published author of the widely acclaimed book The Main Street Vegan and 12 other titles to date. Her message in this book is true to the core message of this podcast. Therefore, we asked Victoria to read us the introductory excerpt from her book - we are delighted she obliged.
In our continual journey for self-learning, there is nobody better with whom we could sit down and ask for advice on living consciously and with zest. This conversation resonated with our core beliefs of health, happiness and compassion. We are grateful to have the opportunity to hear from this pillar and leader in the plant based community. If you are interested in learning from an expert all the ways to approach and enjoy a vegan lifestyle, we guarantee you will enjoy this exchange with Victoria Moran at least as much as we did.
