Denise Leary Jones was born on September 14, 1948, the 5th of James and Catherine Leary's 10 children. She left her hometown of Springfield, Massachusetts to attend Marquette University where she met Louis Jones, the oldest boy of the Jones siblings. The two were friends for several years until things became romantic following Lou's fall from a roof. Soon after, they married and started their family. Denise is whip smart, a devoted sibling, in-law, aunt, mother, an expert planner, and is Joe Wong's designated companion.
