Daniel Robert Jones was born to Robert and Dorothy Jones on May 31, 1957, the eighth of eleven eventual Jones children. He married Michelle Marie Pagac in August 1989, and their daughter Jessica was born a few years later. Dan is a proud resident of Wauwatosa, and is equipped with countless facts about Tosa and Milwaukee – a skill that goes hand-in-hand with his decade as a local news reporter and anchor, followed by more than 20 years at Milwaukee Public Television. Despite always staying up-to-date on current affairs, he still refuses to own a cell phone (much to his family's disbelief).
Dan's immeasurable thoughtfulness, well-timed wit, and steady, relaxed demeanor have led to a strong network of family, friends and loved ones. You're most likely to find him at Cranky Al's in the morning, or sitting on his front porch dreaming of a Door County sunset.
