Louis Jones was born on January 26, 1947. He was the third of what eventually would be eleven children, and the first of the five boys.
When the deeply loved Lou died suddenly, at the young age of 57, while out for his morning run on a beautiful July day in 2004, the entire Jones family was stunned beyond belief and shaken to its very foundation.
Life would go on, but it would be very different.
No one will ever understand why he died so soon, but two things are abundantly clear to his family, and to everyone who knew Lou.
One, the sadness and pain of such a major loss may become bearable, but it never goes away.
And two, the positive effects that you have on the lives you touch while you are here, will be a tremendous legacy that will last forever as well.
Just ask anyone who knew and loved Lou Jones.
