Description

Opossum discovers a greedy Raccoon eating up all the crawfish in the pond. Great googamooga! Kooyah! Wha' is dis? A big argument fo' sho! Will Opossum and Racoon ever be friends or will they starve to death as enemies?
Aunti Oni wrote this version based on the classic Biloxi, Mississippi folktale, "Why Opossum Plays Possum" Specially dedicated to Zora Neale Hurston, of Eatonville, Florida, one of the greatest storytellers who ever lived. "Stepped on de pin, de pin bent and dat's de way da story went"....a folk storytelling song/chant recorded by Zora Neale Hurston.
