The Thirty Year’s War was one of most destructive conflicts in human history. The population of Germany fell from 21 million to 13 million between 1618 – 1648. It has been called “The Outstanding Example of Meaningless conflict”. Today we talk about the religious and political factors that led up to war in Central Europe – along with the overall global consequences.
