In 1746, Culloden Moor saw the Jacobite Rising’s final battle. British forces crushed Bonnie Prince Charlie’s army, killing over 1,500 Jacobites, ending the Stuart claim. Today, visitors report ghostly Highlanders, battle cries, and a weeping soldier’s spirit haunting the moor’s somber graves.
