Cayla Barnes is a gold medal winning hockey player, who played an important role in the United States' thrilling victory over Canada in the 2018 Winter Olympics. The victory avenged a loss to Canada four years ago and was the United States' first gold medal in the sport since 1998. Barnes was the youngest member of the team at just 18 years old! Prior to the Olympics, Barnes led the U.S. team to three consecutive gold medals in the International Ice Hockey Federation Under-18 women's world championships. She also skated in the 2017 Four Nations Cup and helped U.S. to its first-place finish.
