Max is stressed with trying to find ways to cut the budget by 2 million dollars so that he can make payroll. Dr. Fromm has a 13 year old patient that has tumors that are caused by racism and he struggles to find a way to treat him. Dr. Bloom is visited by her estranged mother. Max is told by stranger that Dr. Reynolds is quitting New Amsterdam.
