Episodes 1 and 2 of “Kidding” highlighted how one bad decision can have long lasting consequences. After running over Jill’s boyfriend with his car, Jeff Pickles maintains a lie that frees himself from blame until he can no longer stay silent. He chooses to donate a portion of his liver because “it is the right thing to do,” and the following episode takes us on a journey of his subconscious thoughts that become musically expressed. He fires his father at the end of episode 2 leaving us to wonder how that will play out.
