Including actors Malcolm Jamal-Warner (FX’s People v. O.J. Simpson) and Donis Leonard Jr. (Showtime’s House of Lies), this film will be making its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2016. This film depicts a story that is deeply personal for writer / director Matthew Manson, because it is based on his own experiences growing up in New York. The film takes place during the zenith of the Crown Heights Riots, in 1990s New York City. This was a time of immense racial and political strife, and sadly, very little has changed since then.
