Newcastle Basketball will forge ahead with plans to build their new $25 million basketball stadium at
Glendale following the Hunter and Central Coast Regional Planning Panel’s decision to reject the
Hillsborough site. The RPP decision on the development application for Hillsborough was expected given the constraints and conditions placed on the vacant parcel of Lake Macquarie City Council’s Community Land.
