The Falcons rushing the ball for more than 120 yards for third consecutive game defeated the Carolina Panthers 29-21 on Sunday at Bank of America Stadium. The Falcons defense took a challenge to defend the run personally and came up with three turnovers in stopping Cam Newton and the Panthers. The defense held the Panthers to 91 yards rushing after they ran for 203 yards in the previous meeting. The Falcons improved to 6-7 on the season and are set to play at San Francisco next week.
