Twenty three years outside of the top flight and not a lot to shout about meant life as a Nottingham Forest fan was pretty dismal. The club of miracles had seemingly seenit’s final resurrection long ago and days in the sun were for fans of other teams. But then the magic dust fell again on the city of rebels and in the space of just a few seasons Forest have come out of nowhere to get promoted back tothe Premier League winning the play-off final at Wembley, going on a fabulous cup run as a championship side only to be knocked out at the quarter final stage by Liverpool, reached the semi final of the league cup, maintained theirtop flight status twice against all the odds and now sit strongly in third place in the Premier League table on the edge of the champions league - and following another penalty shoot-out thriller will now travel to Wembley in the FA Cup semi final where they will play reigning champions of England, Manchester City for a place in the final!
