In Part 1 of two I was joined by former Australian jockey Ron Hutchinson to talk about his long career in horse racing.
Ron chats about his early days riding in Australia where he won the Australian Cup in 1945 as an apprentice before he moved firstly to ride In Ireland in 1960 and then to England in 1962 where he became the stable jockey for the Duke of Norfolk until 1977.
In Part 1 Ron reveals what it was like to win the 2000 Guineas on his first ride in England, Royal Ascot successes, including the Gold Cup alongside two further Classic victories in 1969.
