Joe Dolan joined Millwall after his dreams of a professional contract at Chelsea were shattered when John Terry was moved into central defence putting on hold his plans for further education. The understudy to Sean Dyche and Stuart Nethercott he played in the Auto Windscreen Shield defeat to Wigan and was then part of the Division Two title winning side in 2001. Unfortunately hit hard by serious injuries he never fulfilled his full potential.
