A new children's book from right here in Calgary is helping kids find their voice and helping them learn when to speak up when something isn't right.
"Tell Mommy or Daddy or Somebody" focuses on tackling various scenarios in which children should always tell Mommy or Daddy or somebody. Topics include feelings, bullying, being hit or pushed, being made uncomfortable, being told to keep a secret, etc, ensuring no unsafe secrets are being kept. Children will feel empowered to use their voices to help themselves, and others.
