We’ve been feeling the ‘heat’ in the city of Calgary over the past several days and we’re not alone. Many cities across North America and Europe are currently under the grips of a heatwave. So, is this the “new normal” and how do we adapt to rising global temperatures? We discuss with Altaf Arain, Professor of “Earth, Environment and Society” at McMaster University.

It’s an incredibly ambitious goal for a great cause. We catch up with Mathew Embry, a Calgary based man living with Multiple Sclerosis who plans to run 6 marathons in 6 days to raise money and awareness for MS Research.

And finally, It’s a ‘sweet' debate. How much sugar is too much sugar? And would be better off health-wise using artificial ‘sweeteners’ over the natural choice? We tackle the topic with Dr. Ted Jablonski, our “on-call family physician”.
