The first adventure of Britt Ponset, which would lead to a series named "The Six-Shooter." The Wells Fargo office has been robbed of $5000 and a man has been shot. A distinctive horseshoe leads "The Six-Shooter" to Ben Schofield, the sheriff's son. The same recording (with one scene deleted) which was broadcast as "The Six-Shooter" on November 1, 1953. The program was therefore possibly on tape. Diana Lynn appears in an excerpt from the next week's show. This is a heartwarming and suspenseful story which was responsible for the spinoff of the Six Shooter series. Close to as the precursor for Gunsmoke too. With all the stars it was almost Six Shooter meets Gunsmoke.
