25-year-old Coquitlam man Nicholas Bellemare has been charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder with a firearm in connection to the death of Ridge Meadows RCMP officer Constable Rick O’Brien. Former gang unit police officer Doug Spencer comes on to pay tribute to the fallen officer.
