In 2022, Kevin Vuong was running in the federal election in the downtown riding of Spadina-Fort York. The young candidate was a rising political star, a youth advocate and a reserve officer in the Royal Canadian Navy. Now he claims that he is a victim of Chinese Interference after being dropped from the 2021 election because of a withdrawn sexual assault allegation.
