A new report by the Hospital for Sick Children says half of kids eight to 12 and 70 per cent of adolescents reported clinically significant depressive symptoms.

The past year has been unprecedented, with the pandemic presenting a significant impact on health care, especially the way in which health care professionals treat people with diabetes.

 

A recent study from Diabetes Canada suggests complications related to diabetes lihave increased due to reduced access to in-person care and services.

 

A diabetic foot ulcer caused David to wear an air cast for 14 months over the course of the pandemic. But as someone who had to shut down his business during the first wave of the pandemic - dealing with challenges is something of a second nature to him.
