November is  Financial Literacy Month. 

A lot of Canadians are not financially literate.

Over 2.3 million Canadians live with diabetes and 73,000 people losing a foot or leg to the disease each year.

According to the Ontario Society of Chiropodists (OSC)  60 to 70 per cent of diabetics will develop some form of diabetic nerve damage, which in severe forms, can lead to lower limb amputation. In fact, Canadians with diabetes are 23 times more likely to be hospitalized for a limb amputation than someone without diabete​s.
