A new smart watch has been invented that has 2-way communication helping the elderly and those with special needs live more independently. 

 

The watch, designed specifically for the elderly and those with special needs, helps monitors heart rate, sleep quality and has an SOS option in case of emergencies.​

The 6th annual Shine Out! Shout Out! Adult Recreational Hockey Tournament has raised 200-thousand dollars.

 

Proceeds go to the "Just Be You" peer-to-peer mental health support program for youth aged 15-25.
