Description

Michael Francis is a founder and the managing member of Francis Investment Counsel LLC. He has been advising qualified retirement plan clients since 1988. He holds a B.A. degree in economics from Carleton College and a Juris Doctorate degree from Marquette University Law School. Mike has been a featured columnist for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel as the “401(k) Advisor” since 1995 and is a frequent public speaker on retirement plan governance and investment issues. In 2006, PLANSPONSOR Magazine named Mike one of the “Top 25 Retirement Plan Advisors” in the country. In 2018, PLANSPONSOR Magazine named Francis Investment Counsel “Retirement Plan Adviser of the Year” in the Large Team category. Mike is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA).
