LEON GOODMAN: aka "The Colonel" as he was called by dear ones, was a gentle, kind, considerate, helpful giant with the widest most sparkling smile, a man of faith, who loved family, entertaining, traveling, cooking, hailed from Suffolk Va and later took up residence in Long Island, NY. He received his B.A from the State University of New York in Politics, Economics and Society, Political Science and Government, then worked in HR at Columbia University, developing and managing strategic collaborations and pro-active business partnerships with other HR administrators and line management. He then worked for the MTA as Assistant Director, EEO, Title VI Compliance and MWDBE Marketing/Outreach for 10 years, within the diversity and civil rights arena. He mentored, advised, managed, trained, and created policies. He was also involved in MTA Small Business Mentoring Programs including Broadcast (WABC, WNBC, FIOS 1, Transit Transit News Magazine) and On-Line Print (TransitTalent.com) opportunities.....
