Mia Rigden is a Los Angeles based, board certified nutritionist, trained chef, and author. She wrote The Well Journal (2020) and Foodwise (2023), a comprehensive, encouraging guide to healthy eating with 100 original, nutritionally balanced and flavor-enriching recipes. 

Nutrition and cooking have been a lifelong passion. Mia pursued a career in the culinary world in New York City. After a decade of restaurant work, from the kitchen to communications, she was left struggling with her health and how to eat to feel good. 

In 2014, Mia launched her nutrition business, teaching others the principle that delicious food should be good for you. 

Through her immersive work, she aims to help people understand their bodies, demystify wellness trends and learn to love nutrient-dense foods, so they can improve their health, and avoid stressing about their food choices.
