Sometimes our distractions need to be educational - especially when discussing injustices. This week, Alex and Christie weave through the Roxbury murders, which took place almost 42 years ago. 13 women were murdered between January 1979 to May 1979 in Boston, Massachusetts leading the Roxbury (and surrounding areas) to be concerned about safety and protection. Because all but one victim were from a marginalized society, police and media seemingly did not pay much attention to the horrific happenings going on around the city. Need a distraction? We got you.
