Hey Girl, welcome back to this week's episode of The Fearless Mujer. I am so excited that you're hanging out with me. On this week's episode I want to talk to you about comparison. Do you struggle with comparing yourself to other women? Have you ever struggled with this? The truth is sometimes we don't even know that we're comparing ourselves to other people. It's so easy to do this, especially with social media. But what we don't always know is what that person is going through, and sometimes we tend to assume that we know. Like think about the girl who is probably hustling hard trying to get out of debt, and then she is finally able to afford all the things she wants, but for years she wasn't able to do that. You see her post a picture of her new car on social media and you make the assumption that her boyfriend bought it for her. But, actually she just worked hard to get it. The other thing is that everyone likes to post juicy highlights about themselves on social media, and you don't always get the facts. Personally, I don't know very many people who will openly admit that they are struggling. How many people post about their lights getting cut off? Let's get real for a minute!
On this episode I want to encourage you and remind you that you have been created by God in a very unique way. You have strengths and gifts that someone else doesn't. Give yourself the permission to STOP comparing yourself to others.
