Matt Campbell's Iowa State squad is getting a lot of hype heading into the 2021 college football season. It's easy to see why as they finished 2020 ranked in the top 10 and return more production than any other Big 12 school. Brock Purdy, Breece Hall, and Charlie Kolar lead an offense that is extremely efficient. Defensively, Will McDonald, Mike Rose, and Greg Eisworth return to form arguably the best defense in the conference. But is this group truly talented enough to make the College Football Playoff?
