USC head coach Clay Helton seems to be on one of college football's hottest seats every year. Heading into 2021, the pressure is on yet again to perform, especially with a dwindling buyout and a great quarterback in Kedon Slovis. On offense, the skill talent should be great as always with Drake London leading a deep receiving corps. The offensive line is the main concern, as the USC running game was terrible in 2020. On defense, Drake Jackson is an elite edge rusher, but the ceiling of this unit could be decided by number one overall recruit Korey Foreman. If he lives up to the hype, that pass rushing duo could make the entire defense look better. The schedule sets up well as USC avoids Oregon and Washington from the North, but will USC win enough games to save Clay Helton's job?
