Barbara, a client of mine, shares an inspiring story about her son, Charlie who is homeless. Approximately 565,000 people in the United States are homeless at a given time. They are forced to live on the streets, in cars, in homeless shelters, or in subsidized transitional housing. Foreclosures and unemployment are pushing middle class and low-income Americans out of their homes and into emergency shelters and food pantries.
