After launching a start-up in 2019 to offer a digital menu for hospitality businesses, Kim Teo (Mr Yum) and her small team realised they had a product that was fast becoming a much-sort-after commodity during the pandemic for businesses looking to use QR codes and deliver on contactless, socially-distanced offerings. In just three years Mr Yum has grown from a small idea to over 260 employees and they’re not only taking hospitality into a more profitable, streamlined and efficient future, but have become one of the real success stories in the Australian tech start-up space too.
