Although the importance of food and connection ran a thread thorough her family life, food as a career was never really considered by Laura Rheinlander (Bar Vincent, Sydney). But while studying bias a biomedical student she landed a job as a barista at one of Brisbane’s hottest restaurants, it opened the door to a shift in the kitchen and she’s never looked back. Now she’s part of the team at one of the most under-rated, local Sydney restaurants that epitomises exactly what hospitality is all about.
