Description

Cardinals Director of Communications Brian Bartow joins the show to discuss the days surrounding September 11, 2001. Baseball took a leave of absence as the nation grieved. Meanwhile the Cardinals had to find a way home from Milwaukee after all air traffic was grounded. When games resumed Jack Buck stirred a packed house at Busch with a now famous original poem. Bartow witnessed it all first hand, and relays stories about an unprecedented week in American, and baseball, history.
