Meteorologist Lee Goldberg times out the extreme heat, humidity and oppressive air that takes hold of the Tri-State on Tuesday.
A heat advisory will take effect for much of the day, with heat indices that could reach 100 to 105 degrees.
To make matters worse, air quality is expected to deteriorate as well.
