People build an online community for different reasons. They could want human connection. They could want to be part of something greater. Whether about creating a local or virtual community, the same principles apply. It's more fulfilling when things are done together. It's one reason why we want a life partner. We don't have to face life alone. That's what brings us joy, happiness, and keeps us alive. When we're alone, we feel lonely. That's why we need a community. We need that connection.

Nowadays, you have the technology to connect with almost anyone in the world. One of the best parts about building an online community is meeting them in person. There are many tools that can be used for video conference purposes. You could get on a call and interact with others as if they were in the same room. When building an online community, be ready to respond and evolve. Always look at what needs to be adjusted. You need to be receiving feedback. It helps to listen to what the people are saying.
