In the Fall of 1985, as a Junior at Syracuse University with the iconic Mike Tirico by his side, Bill Roth stepped into a Lane Stadium press box for the first time. He was on the call for WAER as the Hokies faced the Orangemen in Blacksburg. Little did he know, three years later he'd call Virginia Tech home.
