Description

Welcome to The PC Gaming Weekspot, Rock Paper Shotgun’s weekly recap on the last seven days in PC video gaming.
In Headlines and Hot Takes, we discuss Rockstar Games snapping up Crackdown developer Ruffian Games, Phil Spencer’s had some thoughts on the Bethesda purchase and the whereabouts of Banjo-Kazooie and Conker, and we enter tech corner to discuss -- in-depth -- AMD's Ryzen 5000 CPUs… again.
Following on from last week’s Yakuza: Like A Dragon chat, Colm’s played Streets of Kamurocho (one of Sega’s 60th birthday freebies). He’s also had a go on Golden Axed, which leads to The Weekspot boys chatting about a recent Twitter thread from the prototype’s programmer. Matthew’s been scratching his Desperados-shaped itch with some Partisans 1941, and while it may not be up to the standard of the Western from earlier this year, he still enjoyed his time with it.
On top of that we’ve got a 2013 edition of Mystery Steam Reviews, we take your Burning Questions, and the biggest interview in PC games is definitely not going to happen this week. But Greta pops by (via email).
Our little show began life as a weekly YouTube livestream, so some things may be lost in the audio version of this The PC Gaming Weekspot episode, but we hope you still enjoy it!
