This week, we have been looking at Deuteronomy 14:4 and what it means to fear the Lord. One of the competing fears many of us wrestle with is fear of man. Only one can win. On the night of Jesus’ crucifixion, Peter’s fear of man was stronger, and he denied Christ. Yet after Peter saw the risen Jesus, he couldn’t stop sharing the gospel and wanted to please God more than man. Which Peter are you today?
