Turn up the volume because this week I have ,Hero Advocate and Country Music Artist Mr. Colton James on the show!
We kick it off and get to know Colton a little better and how he got into music at an early age. Over the years he perfected his craft and before he knew he was opening for Toby Keith, Mark Chestnut, Chris Cagle, Joe Nichols, the Dixie Chicks, Lonestar, Keith Anderson and Trick Pony.
We discuss his new EP titled “America”, it’s full of passion and storytelling and Colton paints an amazing picture of the America he knows and love. One of the songs that. really got to me is: “I Miss America” (https://apple.co/3Hwtjq0).
Colton has a passion and love for God, Family and country. He is a big supporter of our community Heroes and one of the projects he has started is called Land 4 Heroes Lodge. Once complete, this 15,000 square feet of land in Virginia, will offer veterans a location where they can spend time with one another. Another project we touch on is him partnering up with Rick Dawson, owner
of 2022 Kentucky Derby-winning thoroughbred Rich Strike, to
launch RedSunset Entertainment, a Nashville-based upstart multimedia
company where Colton and Dawson intend to produce other
new projects.
We wrap up the show with Colton sharing a very personal Decision Hour moment, "put Family and God First".
