Many players in different organizations get their numbers retired for various reasons, goals, championships, points etc. But what about the players who protected them? Gave them room on the ice to make plays or came to their defense if liberties were taken. The often over looked importance of tough guys happens far to often especially in the year 2022 where the role of enforcer is pretty much a dodo bird now. This list was made to appreciate those franchise players who bled for the crest and their teammates. This is all just a personal opinion so take the list with a grain of salt if your favorite player isn't on here or I may have missed someone. We all make mistakes and we're only human.
