It's no secret that talk shows are dying, especially now that Trump is out of office and they find themselves suddenly having to actually write material. Those who've been watching for decades - which apparently is the vast majority of the audience - are probably saddened by this news. The other 99% of us, not so much. It's like smoking. Sometimes change is good. Only sometimes.
