SPRING GAME REVIEWOverall Thoughts on the Game as a WholeAdvantage defense in 1st half with no tacklingStandout player on O: GrantAdvantage offense in 2nd half with tackling, and QBs in red jerseysWhite was held scoreless for most of the 2nd half, but for two turnovers and a couple 3 and outs for 14 points.Smothers still needs a lot of work on his passing.I was impressed with both Thompson and Purdy. If Chubba comes into Fall camp 100%, I think we will have a great QB competition.Standout player on D: Jimari Butler. 6 tackles, 3 solo, 1 sack, 1 TFL, and 1 QBHHaarberg’s TD throw to Kamonte Grimes in the 3rd was very nice, but the INT he tossed toward the end of the 4th was a bad decision.Leading rusher was Trevin Lubin, with 91 yards on 8 carries. 11 yards per carry, with a long of 32. Leading receiver was AJ Rollins, with 4 rec for 39 yards, with a long of 27 on a nice toss from PurdyLeading passer was Chubba Purdy, who was 5 for 10 for 63 yards, with a long of 27 to RollinsLeading tackler was Grant Tagge, with 8. 4 of them solo tackles.Players to WatchOffenseKen: Anthony Grant6 rushes, 71 yds (69 net), 1 TD (60 yds), 11.5 ypc1 rec for 15 yardsScott: Jaquez Yant11 rushes, 29 yds, 2.6 ypcDefenseKen: Earnest Hauseman7 total tackles, 6 solo, 1 TFL, and 1 QBHScott: Randolph Kpai5 total tackles, 3 solo, Players to ExcelOffenseKen: Trey Palmer2 rec, 11 yards, long of 10 ydsScott: Alante BrownZero receptionsDefenseKen: Nash Hutmacher2 total, 1 solo, 1 assistedScott: Garrett Nelson2 total, 2 TFL, 2 Sacks, 10 yards lostPLUS/MINUS...
